The walks surrounding Arco offer breathtaking views, climbing the promontory where the castle stands, skirting the Villa dell’Arciduca, or the Archdukes’ Palace, you penetrate the olive grove that leads to the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Laghel. If you enjoy mountain walks then you should visit the San Pietro refuge, or Monte Stivo, where you can take a quad ride, enjoy some trekking, Nordic walking or horse riding. From the beaches of Arco’s bathing resort you can sail with the Arco sailing club, windsurf, swim and dive. There is no shortage of tennis, volleyball and basketball courts as well as football fields and for those who like to climb there are several natural and artificial practice walls.

Those who wish to practice extreme sports will appreciate a trip to Monte Stivo while those who just want to visit the mountains and enjoy the surrounding nature, can take a walk with snow shoes. Those who love skiing, but perhaps not in such extreme conditions, can reach the ski resorts of Bondone and Monte Baldo, just half an hour’s drive away .
